Soprano Isabella Burns is currently pursuing her Master of Sacred Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Notre Dame. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Westminster Choir College where she was a member of the Westminster Williamson Voices under the direction of James Jordan, and the Westminster Symphonic Choir with Joe Miller. During her time in the Westminster Symphonic Choir, Burns sang with The Vienna Philharmonic, and the Philadelphia Orchestra under the batons of Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Vladimir Jurowski, and Daniele Gatti. This past August, Isabella spent a week recording an album of contemporary choral music by Paul Mealor, Dan Forrest, Thomas Lavoy, and Peter Relph, with The Same Stream Choir and James Jordan in Philadelphia. A California native, Burns splits her summers between her home-state and the UK, where she teaches on the faculty of the Choral Institute at Oxford.
